Former F1 Driver Ralf Schumacher Weds Partner Étienne Bousquet-Cassagne in French Riviera Ceremony

Former Formula 1 driver Ralf Schumacher has married his partner Étienne Bousquet-Cassagne in an intimate ceremony held in the glamorous French Riviera destination of St. Tropez. The 50-year-old German, who currently works as a television analyst for Sky Germany, exchanged vows with Bousquet-Cassagne in what marks a significant personal milestone for the six-time grand prix winner.

Schumacher enjoyed a successful decade-long Formula 1 career from the late 1990s through the 2000s, competing for Jordan, Williams, and Toyota. During his time in the sport’s premier category, he secured six race victories, claimed 27 podium finishes, and accumulated 329 championship points across his 180 race starts.

The couple’s wedding will be featured in an upcoming Sky Germany documentary series titled “Ralf and Étienne, We Say Yes,” giving fans an inside look at their nuptials. Bousquet-Cassagne shared an emotional tribute on social media following the ceremony, expressing his joy at officially becoming Schumacher’s husband. “Before all those who love us, I stand here with a heart full of joy and emotion to tell you how much I choose you—you, forever,” he wrote alongside wedding photographs.

The pair first crossed paths in Monaco around 2022, with their relationship becoming public knowledge in July 2024 when Schumacher came out as gay through a touching Instagram post featuring the couple watching a sunset together. Their engagement was announced on February 10, 2026, setting the stage for this weekend’s celebration on the French Riviera.
