Rain threat increases for Miami Grand Prix

The chances of rain during the Miami Grand Prix are rising, with current forecasts indicating around a 30% possibility of showers at race time.

The race is scheduled for Sunday, May 3, at the Miami International Autodrome, with Formula 1’s official schedule listing the Grand Prix for the afternoon local time. Forecasts for Miami Gardens also point to unsettled conditions during the day, including possible thunderstorms around midday and showers later in the afternoon.

While a dry race remains the most likely scenario, the increasing risk of rain could add an important strategic variable for teams, especially with tire choices, track temperature and possible safety-car interruptions all becoming more relevant if conditions change.
